Description: We are aware that some number of members are suddenly having to charge their rings more often.

1.) We are currently working on a fix for this issue. In the meantime, ensure you continue updating your firmware to the latest version, as we are constantly making improvements, and you may want to consider turning off certain features you're not using (e.g., the Blood Oxygen Sensing feature, if you are receiving an optimal reading).

Description: Users have reported that the charger light keeps flashing blue after charging their ring for sometime. Some might interpret this light as flashing green, due to the blue charging light utilizing both the blue and green light.

Issue | Unable to take Gen3 Ring into use

Description: The ring does not appear when trying to set up Gen3
Workaround(s):
1.) Place your old ring on the charger and ensure it’s charging.
2.) Open the Oura App and tap the spinning ring in the upper right-hand corner of the Home tab.
3.) Swipe left.
4.) Scroll down to 'Tools' and tap 'Set up new ring.'
5.) Please select the option to ‘Factory reset current ring’. Leave your old ring on its charger until the factory reset is complete. Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings, and remove your ring from your listed connected devices.
Note: if your old ring is lost or no longer functional, you can skip the factory reset and proceed with ‘Set up a new ring instead’.
6.) Once your factory reset is complete, take your old ring off the charger and place your new ring on the charger. If you skipped the factory reset, proceed with placing your new ring on the charger. Select ‘Setup new ring’ to pair your new ring and app.
If your new and old ring are both connected to your device and you don't see your newest ring generation appear, please tap 'This is not my ring'. From there, you can select between connected options.
If you are unable to find your Gen3 ring, please try using your Gen2 charger for the set up process.

Issue | After Android app update 3.12.1, ring loses connection to app

Description: The charger switches from a slow white blink to a fast green blink.
Workaround(s):
Update your ring’s firmware to the latest firmware version 2.6.4. Once your ring’s firmware has been updated, the light should eventually turn solid green once the ring is fully charged.
If you are unable to update your ring’s firmware on the Gen3 charger, please attempt the same procedure with your Gen2 charger.

Description: The ring will only sync data when placed on the charging station, acting as if in airplane mode when off of the charger. The resulting issue is a disconnection between the ring and the app when the ring is off the charger.
Workaround(s): Place the ring on the charger in order to sync. No other workarounds at this time.

Description: All days before the 3.9.2 app update are showing “Total Sleep”, “REM Sleep” and “Deep Sleep” contributors at 0 hours and 0 minutes slept.
Workaround(s): The web browser is unaffected and should show complete and accurate data. Visualizations (bar graphs) convey accurate optimizations in-app, although the text is incorrect (eg. “0 hrs, 0 min”).

- Force quit the Oura App (ensuring it's closed in the background).
- Reopen the Oura App and attempt to sync.
- Restart your device and re-establish Bluetooth connection.

Description: Some users may see minor differences in their data in the Oura App, and the Oura on the web interface. These differences can be attributed to rounding errors or different time parameters. If you've just set up your Oura Ring, these discrepancies may appear. If you see these discrepancies, rely on data from the Oura App until our team has implemented a fix.
