The Oura App is a personal health companion that helps improve wellness. It interprets your body's unique signals, measures individualized progress, and guides you to make sustainable shifts that unlock performance today and health span tomorrow.
Oura App Experience
The Oura App gives you a streamlined, at-a-glance view into both your short-term and long-term health. It's organized into three sections: Today, Vitals, and My Health.
Today
The Today tab surfaces the most important information about your health and will update throughout that day. Each day will look different and contain a different set of features depending on what is most timely and relevant to you. To see historical data, you can use either the Vitals tab or Trends, which can be found in the menu in the upper left-hand corner of the home screen.
Within the Today tab, you will see:
- Important updates and insights: timely information about your daily health throughout the day
- Action items: items requiring or resulting from your actions, such as detected naps, firmware updates, software updates, activities from Automatic Activity Detection, and more.
- Shortcuts: quick access entry points for your main metrics — readiness, sleep, activity, cycles, heart rate, and stress. Shortcuts allow you to easily dive deeper into your data in the detail views for each feature
- Recent events: a timeline providing a comprehensive view of your daily activities and decisions
- What's new: new features, partnerships, content additions, and more
Vitals
The Vitals Tab provides an at-a-glance view of your different health metrics and will go deeper into your scores.
In the Vitals tab, you'll see:
- Cards for each major metric: you can view your readiness, sleep, activity goal, cycles, daytime heart rate, and Daytime Stress. You can expand the cards to see more information, such as contributors, and tap on the arrow to see the detail views and insight messages
- Typical ranges: in addition to your Readiness Score, Sleep Score, and activity goal completion, you'll see your typical range for each, which is the range of your scores 80% of the time over the last 90 days. You'll start getting typical ranges within a couple of weeks of using the app. If you haven't been wearing the ring consistently, you'll get a typical range based on whatever data is available for the last 90 days
- Historical data: by swiping left and right or tapping on the calendar view at the top of the screen, you can navigate backward and forward in time to see your stats for previous days
My Health
The My Health Tab gives you a more streamlined view of your long-term metrics, like Cardiovascular Age, Stress Resilience, and Trends that help you take control of the future of your health.
In the My Health tab, you’ll see:
- Long-term metrics: a high-level overview for Resilience, heart health (Cardiovascular Age and Cardio Capacity) and sleep health (sleep regularity and chronotype). You can tap into each card for detail views
- Your reports: weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports are one of the easiest ways to see patterns in your data over time
- Your Health profile: You can edit your goals and key profile information in the upper right-hand corner
Note Gen2 users will see a limited view of the app due to differences in Oura Membership features.
