What is an Extend Protection Plan?
An Extend protection plan helps protect your investment and provides peace of mind should your ring experience covered accidental damage, such as a drop or break. Additionally, when the Limited Warranty expires, the Extend Protection Plan provides extended coverage for everything covered by the Limited Warranty, in addition to the accidental damage coverage for the entire length of the plan selected, or until the covered product is replaced, per the terms and conditions of the plan.
How do I purchase an Extend protection plan?
An Extend Protection Plan can only be purchased with a new ring from the Oura online store—it cannot be added at a later date or transferred to another order. There are two options available: a two-year ($45) and three-year ($60) plan.
When are my ring and charger covered?
Accidental damage coverage begins as soon as you purchase your ring and its included charger, and lasts for the full term of the plan you selected (or until the covered product is replaced by Extend). Coverage for defects in materials and workmanship starts after the Oura Limited Warranty expires.
How many times can I use the Extend Protection Plan?
The Extend Protection Plan is a single-replacement program that allows for a one-time replacement of a like or comparable ring and included charger should it suffer a covered failure or accidental damage during the coverage term of the plan. Once you receive a replacement through Extend, the contract is fulfilled and the plan will end.
If a product covered by Extend is replaced under Oura’s Limited Warranty, does the Extend Protection Plan cover the new product?
Yes, if you receive a replacement ring through Oura's Limited Warranty, it will continue to be covered under Extend’s Protection Plan.
