All new Oura Rings come with Oura’s Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty ("Limited Warranty"), but you can also purchase an Extend Protection Plan, which covers accidental damage. For additional questions on Warranty, see our FAQs.
What is an Extend Protection Plan?
An Extend protection plan helps protect your investment and provides peace of mind should your ring experience covered accidental damage, such as a drop or break. Additionally, when the Limited Warranty expires, the Extend Protection Plan provides extended coverage for everything covered by the Limited Warranty, in addition to the accidental damage coverage for the entire length of the plan selected, or until the covered product is replaced, per the terms and conditions of the plan.
How do I purchase an Extend protection plan?
An Extend Protection Plan can be purchased with a new ring on ouraring.com — it cannot be added at a later date. There are two options available: a two-year ($45) and three-year ($60) plan.
When are my ring and charger covered?
Accidental damage coverage begins as soon as you purchase your ring and its included charger, and lasts for the full term of the plan you selected (or until the covered product is replaced by Extend). Coverage for defects in materials and workmanship starts after the Oura Limited Warranty expires.
How many times can I use the Extend Protection Plan?
The Extend Protection Plan is a single-replacement program that allows for a one-time replacement of a like or comparable ring and included charger should it suffer a covered failure or accidental damage during the coverage term of the plan. Once you receive a replacement through Extend, the contract is fulfilled and the plan will end.
If a product covered by Extend is replaced under Oura’s Limited Warranty, does the Extend Protection Plan cover the new product?
Yes, if you receive a replacement ring through Oura's Limited Warranty, it will continue to be covered under Extend’s Protection Plan.
How do I file a claim?

Can I cancel my Extend Protection Plan?
Yes, you can cancel your coverage at any time. Please submit your request via Help > Contact Us in your Oura App. Depending on how much time has passed, you may receive a prorated refund, less any claims costs.
If I cancel my Extend Protection Plan, what is the refund policy?
You are entitled to a full refund within 60 days of purchase if no claims have been filed. After 60 days, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund on the unused portion of the service contract, less any claims costs.
Are there service fees or a deductible for a claim?
No. There is no deductible to receive a replacement under the protection plan. Depending on the state in which you live, you may be charged sales tax on the value of the replacement.
I don’t live in the United States. Can I still purchase the Extend Protection Plan?
The plan is only available in the 50 US states and Washington, DC at this time.
What is not covered under the Extend Protection Plan?
Defects in materials and workmanship covered within Oura’s Limited Warranty period, cosmetic damage, or loss of use while a replacement claim is underway. A complete list can be found in Extend's Terms and Conditions.
