Oura offers the ability to sync your data with a number of third-party apps. By integrating with the Stelo by Dexcom app, you can track your glucose levels in the Oura App.
The Glucose feature is available only in the US due to regulatory clearance for:
- Gen3 and Oura Ring 4 with active membership
- iOS
- Android
This feature is not available on Gen2 or older.
To use the Glucose feature, your country of residence must be set to the United States. To check or update this, go to the menu in your Oura App > Settings.

Setting Up the Stelo by Dexcom App
To use Glucose, you'll need both an Oura Membership and a Stelo account. Note: you don’t need to use the same email address for both apps. Make sure to use your Oura account email when logging into the Oura App, and your Stelo email when signing into the Stelo by Dexcom app.
1. Download the Stelo by Dexcom app
- Download the Stelo by Dexcom app (available in the US only): iOS or Android
- Create a Stelo account and follow the instructions in the app
2. Connect the Stelo Glucose Biosensor to the Oura App
- Tap the
menu in the upper-left corner of the Oura App's Today tab
- Tap Glucose or Integrations > Dexcom Stelo, and then Connect Stelo sensor
- Sign in using the email address linked to your Stelo by Dexcom app
Once you've enabled the integration and started gathering data, you can find your glucose information in the Oura App:
- In the
menu in the upper-left corner of the Today tab under Glucose
- In a home card or the Glucose shortcut at the top of the Today tab
- In the Vitals tab
Data Synced Between Stelo and Oura
Only glucose data transfers from the Stelo by Dexcom app to the Oura App.
Oura does not send any data back to Stelo. If you log meals or events in the Oura App, they won't appear in the Stelo by Dexcom App. However, if you have Apple Health or Health Connect by Android enabled, the data can transfer to Stelo.
App Integration Troubleshooting
Glucose Data Isn't Syncing or Showing Up
To connect the biosensor to Oura, use the same email address linked to your Stelo account.
In the Oura App
If your glucose data isn't showing up in the Oura App, check if you've enabled the integration.
- Tap the
menu in the upper-left corner of the Today tab
- Tap Settings > App integrations
- Look for Stelo under Available Apps
Stelo App
If you're not seeing Stelo sensor data in your Stelo app, you may be experiencing signal loss — this happens when your smartphone temporarily stops receiving readings from your biosensor. You’ll see a message on your Glucose tab if readings aren't received for more than 15.5 minutes. You won’t get readings until the issue is resolved. For help with signal loss, visit Stelo Support.
If your data still isn’t showing, try resetting the integration.
Resetting the Integration
In the Stelo by Dexcom app:
- Go to Settings
- Tap Profile > Third Party Applications: Oura
- Tap View and Edit > Revoke
In the Oura App:
- Tap the
menu in the upper-left corner of the Today tab
- Tap on Settings > App Integrations
- Tap Stelo, then select Revoke Access to disconnect the integration
- Once access is revoked, reconnect your Stelo account
- Once the integration is enabled, make sure both the Oura App and Stelo by Dexcom app are open in the background
- Wait one hour, then check if your Stelo data appears in the Oura App
If glucose data still doesn’t appear, try reinstalling both apps and setting up the sensor again. Before you do, make sure you have your Stelo biosensor pairing code — you’ll need it to reconnect your sensor after reinstalling the Stelo app. You can find the pairing code in the Stelo App under Settings > Sensor.
