Meals helps you tune into how your eating patterns affect your energy, sleep, and overall well-being.
Eating at regular times can support your circadian rhythm, your body’s internal clock. By providing insights into the optimal timing of meals, Meals empowers you to make food choices that work better for your body and lifestyle.

How to Use Meals
You can log a meal, snack, or beverage in the menu in the upper-left corner or the + button in the bottom-right of the Today tab. You can log a meal in three different ways:
- Take a photo of your meal using your phone camera
- Upload a photo from your phone
- Type in what you ate
Your meal will be analyzed using an AI-assisted tool, and you can edit its name and time. If the image can't be analyzed, try retaking the photo or switch to text input instead.
It may take 3-7 days to calibrate your meal regularity, depending on how actively you log meals.
Your meals will appear on the 24-hour clock, alongside your sleep and wake times. Each meal includes a Nutrition Breakdown, showing estimated levels of:
- Protein
- Fiber
- Processing level
- Added sugars
- Total fats
- Total carbs
Each component is labeled as low, moderate, or high to help you quickly understand the nutritional balance of your meal.
You’ll also get personalized suggestions from Oura Advisor — like simple swaps or small adjustments — to help you make informed choices that work for your lifestyle.
If you connect a Stelo Glucose Biosensor to the Oura App, you’ll also see glucose data related to your meals.
