How do I receive an Oura Ring 4?

If you’re an Essence Healthcare plan participant and enrolled in a qualifying PPO plan, visit this Essence Healthcare link.

What if I already have an Oura Ring?

To participate in the Essence Healthcare benefit program, you must redeem a new Oura Ring 4 through the Essence portal.

How do I set up my Oura Account?

How long does my Oura Membership last?

Your Oura Membership is complimentary as long as you are enrolled in a qualifying Essence Healthcare plan. You won't have to add a payment method in Membership Hub.

If your Oura Membership through Essence Healthcare is about to end, you'll receive an email and a notification in Membership Hub.

Select the “Continue membership” button in the email or the notification to add a payment method in Membership Hub.

What happens if I receive an automated call or text from Essence Healthcare?

If you have an Oura Ring through Essence and agreed to share your health data with Essence, you may receive phone calls or text messages from an automated system.

These calls and text messages will be sent to Essence Healthcare members who show elevated nocturnal breathing disturbances through their Oura Ring data.

In these communications, you may be asked to answer some questions related to your sleep quality and general health. 

Information obtained from this outreach is only shared with your care team and the health plan teams supporting your care. Your information is protected by Essence under strict HIPAA-compliant processes. 

Participation in these automated communications is optional. You can opt out of this outreach by following the instructions in the message, like replying “STOP” in a text message. All care decisions remain with your provider and you’ll experience no change to your care experience.

If our virtual assistant Finn isn’t able to resolve your issue, you can open a ticket with our Member Care Team.

When you open a ticket, you’ll need to provide your email address so our Member Care Team can verify your account. Please use the email address that is associated with your Oura account.

When you receive an email from our Member Care Team with a ticket update, sign in to our Member Care platform. We ask Oura members who joined through Essence Healthcare to sign in to improve security.

To sign in to Oura’s Member Care platform:

  1. If you have a Gmail account, you can select Sign in with Google or
  2. Enter your email address and password
  • If you’ve never signed in before, select Get a password
  • If you need a new password, select Forgot password?

Once you’re signed in, you can directly message our Member Care Team and review the status of your tickets:

  1. Tap the Icon Bars Menu.png menu in the upper-left corner of the Today tab
  2. Select Help
  3. Select My Support Tickets
