What is Oura's return and exchange policy?
Return and Exchange Policy
If you purchased your Oura product directly from the Oura online store, you can return or exchange your fully functional and undamaged Oura product for any reason within 30 days of receiving your original order. Returns should include all items from the original purchase. For Oura Ring sets, this means the ring, charger, and USB-C cable.
Shipping and handling charges from your original order, including any customs fees, are non-refundable. Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original payment and reflect current exchange rates.
We’re unable to offer exchanges for Oura Ring Gen3 purchases.
If you’ve ordered an Oura Ring Gen3 and would like a different size, color, or model, you’ll need to return your original purchase for a refund and place a new order.
How do I return or exchange my Oura product?
Oura Online Store Purchases
In select regions (US, Canada, Finland, Germany, Japan, and the UK), you can use our returns and exchanges self-service portal. See Return or Exchange an Oura Product.
Retailer Purchases
Returns, exchanges, and refunds for Oura purchases from a retailer, either in-store or online, must be handled directly with the retailer.
If you decide to return an Oura Ring for a refund, make sure to cancel your membership in the Oura App settings or through the Membership Hub to avoid continued charges for your plan.
Can I return or exchange my Oura product more than once?
We allow only one return or exchange per item. This means you can return your original product once for a refund, or exchange it once — for example, for a different size of the same ring.
A return for a refund is not available after an exchange has been completed.
For orders that include multiple items, returns and exchanges must be processed separately. If you'd like to return one item and exchange another within the same order, you’ll need to complete those as individual transactions.
Can I still return my Oura product without the original packaging?
You can use any other suitable packaging for your return as long as the device is properly protected and kept secure while in transit.
Can I exchange my Oura Ring for one in a different price range?
Direct Oura Ring exchanges are only available for a different size of the same ring. If you want a different model or color, you will need to return your original ring for a refund within 30 days and place a new order.

Can I get a new Oura Ring before returning my current one?
According to Oura’s return policy, we must receive your original ring before we can place a new order. We cannot hold deposits on credit cards either. If you prefer not to go through this process, you can purchase a new ring from the Oura online store, then return your original ring for a refund. Please note, shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
Can I get a sizing kit before I decide which size I'd like to exchange my ring for?
If you did not choose to receive a complimentary sizing kit with your purchase, please contact us for assistance.
The sizing for each Oura Ring model differs slightly between generations. Make sure to use the right sizing kit for the most accurate fit. The sizing kit boxes are labeled with the generation number that they are intended for.
- Oura Ring 5 Sizing Kit: white ring sizers, sizes 6–13
- Oura Ring 4 Sizing Kit: white ring sizers, sizes 4–15
Can I send a new or replacement product to a different address/recipient?
Yes, we can send an exchange product to a different address as long as it's within the same country.
If you're looking to send an exchange product to a different country, you'll need to return the original product and place a new order. Steps outlined in Return or Exchange an Oura Product can guide you in getting started.
Can I return a product without the original order number (e.g., received as a gift)?
To track down your order number, you can log in to My Orders or look at the original order confirmation email. If this was a gift, the confirmation may have been sent to the person who purchased it for you.
For returns on gifted products, note refunds can only be issued to the original payment method.

Tracking
Why does Oura need me to provide my return tracking number?
The tracking number helps us to follow up on the delivery status and to expedite the completion of your refund or exchange.
What if I don't have a tracking number?
We highly recommend that when returning your Oura product, you purchase tracking services for your protection and to save the shipping receipt for your records. Your return can't be processed until it's been received and checked in at our facilities. In case your return happens to get lost or delayed in transit, having tracking services on your package can help mitigate this scenario.
If you don't have a tracking number to share with our team, we'll still be able to process your return once it's been received and checked in; however, it may take slightly longer to receive your full refund as a result.
Refunds & Payment
How long does a refund take?
Once your item has been received, your return or exchange will be processed within 14 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email from us once full processing is complete.
Can Oura hold deposits on credit cards?
Unfortunately, we can't hold deposits on credit cards.
Do I need to pay for shipping on an exchange?
Replacement orders should not be charged any customs duties. However, some countries may still impose fees on replacements. If you're charged with customs duties for an exchange or warranty, please pay the invoice and contact our team with receipt of your payment. We will issue a refund.
Can I get a refund on a different card or bank account?
All returns will be credited to the original method of payment. We can't send a refund to another card or bank account.
What if I don’t see my refund?
Please allow a few business days for the refund to show up on the account you made your purchase with. We also recommend checking in on the refund with your bank.
I lost the charger/ring, can I return the remaining item for a refund?
If the order was placed for a ring set (Oura Ring + charger), we aren't able to accept a partial return, or issue a partial refund from a full set order. Keep in mind, all rings purchased from the Oura online store come as a full ring set.
