If you've misplaced your Oura Ring, you can use the Find My Ring feature in the Oura App.
Find My Ring is currently available on the Oura App for iOS. We’re hoping to release Find My Ring on Android devices soon.
If you have the Oura App on an Android device, you can download a third-party app, such as Wunderfind, that searches for the Bluetooth signal from your Oura Ring.
How to Use Find My Ring
You'll have to enable Location Services on your device for the Find My Ring feature to work. You can access the feature by:
- Tapping the card on the Home tab of the Oura App that will appear if your device doesn't connect to your Oura Ring, or
- Tapping the battery icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Home tab on your Oura App, then selecting Show latest location.
The latest location of when your device was connected to your Oura Ring will appear. The location that is shown may not be the current location of your Oura Ring.
If no location appears, then you can try the following:
- Review your device's settings to ensure it is not running in low battery mode. The Find My Ring feature will not work if your phone is low on battery
- Review your device's settings to ensure Location Services is enabled for the Oura App. If you didn't enable Location Services when using Find My Ring, then the Oura App may not be able to provide a last known location for when your device was connected to your Oura Ring
If troubleshooting doesn't work, you can download a third-party app that searches for the Bluetooth signal from your Oura Ring. Available third-party apps include Find My Ring and Find My Lost Bluetooth Device for iOS devices, and Wunderfind for Android devices.
