How to Use the Stress Management Hub

To locate the Stress Management Hub in the Oura App, select the "My Health" tab, then scroll down and select "Stress Management." You can also access Stress Management by tapping on the stress icon in the arc at the top of the My Health tab. Your Stress Management rating can range from "Needs Care" to "Thriving" and is updated weekly.

Within the Stress Management hub is a chart that shows your Cumulative Stress levels. Your Cumulative Stress level is also highlighted as the "Key metric" beneath the chart.

Switch the graph between "Cumulative Stress" and "Resilience" by tapping the toggle above the chart. When you select Resilience, the Cumulative Stress trend remains visible in the background for easy comparison.

Resilience and Daytime Stress are both displayed farther down the Stress Management hub as "Related metrics." Tap on either one for more information about these metrics.

Troubleshooting the Stress Management Hub

Stress features require consistent daytime and nighttime ring wear in order to generate readings.

Daytime Stress

  • New users will need at least five days of consistent ring wear for initial calibration
  • Existing users require at least five days of data from within the previous 21 days

Resilience

  • New users will need at least 10 days of data to establish baselines and begin displaying Resilience measurements
  • Existing users require at least five days of data from within the previous 14 days

Cumulative Stress

  • Daytime Stress must be calibrated before Cumulative Stress can begin measurement
  • After this calibration, Cumulative Stress requires at least 21 days of data from within the previous 31 days

If you see a "Calibrating" or "Not enough data" message in the Oura App, be sure to charge your ring and wear it consistently during the day and at night in order to provide the app with enough data to calculate these features.
