Through the Oura device recycling program, it’s easy to responsibly recycle your old or unused Oura Ring. Oura covers all shipping costs for members who choose to send their old devices back.

The device recycling program is currently available in the US, Canada, select EU countries, and the UK, with more countries coming soon.

What Oura Ring Devices Are Accepted?

You can recycle any Oura Ring device, including ones that are damaged, no longer working, or no longer in use (for example, after upgrading to a new device or receiving a replacement).

Before Recycling Your Oura Ring

Remove your Oura Ring from the connected device and factory reset it

• Ensure that you have a stable internet connection
• Place your Oura Ring on the charger until it reaches at least 50%
• Go to the menu in the upper-left corner of the Oura App's Today tab
• Select Settings
• Scroll all the way down and select Sign out. Your Oura App data will automatically be backed up during the sign out process
• When the signout is complete, go to your device's Bluetooth settings and remove your Oura Ring from the list of connected devices
• Factory reset your Oura Ring before recycling

• The program is intended for recycling only
• Any Oura Ring returned through this program is not eligible for refunds, exchanges, or trade ins. For returns and exchanges, see Return or Exchange an Oura Product
