In short, yes, you can wear your Oura Ring at the gym. To protect your finger and your Oura Ring, though, we don’t recommend wearing your ring while lifting weights. Like other jewelry, Oura Rings may become scratched if worn while lifting weights or gripping barbells or dumbells.

To make sure you get credit for workouts done while not wearing your Oura Ring, we recommend using Apple Health or Google Fit to connect your workout band or device with the Oura app.
