Use Tags
Oura's Tags feature lets you explore how a specific activity, feeling, or choice affects your quality of sleep and Readiness. By using Tags, you can develop a better understanding of how certain choices impact you. Keep in mind: tags won't impact your daily Sleep, Readiness, or Activity Scores. You can observe how Tags impact your metrics by viewing them in Trends.

Open the Oura app.

On the Home tab, tap on the icon in the bottom right-hand corner.

Tap Add a tag.

Select one or more tags from the provided list by tapping on them. Set the Date and time for your tag(s).

You can also add a comment to your tag. To do so, tap Add a comment and enter your note using the keyboard on your device.

Tap Done to save the tag.

Once the tag is saved, it'll appear on the Home tab. To view the tag, scroll down. Your newly added tag will be listed under Activities.

You can also view your tags in Trends. To do so, go to the menu in the upper left-hand corner of the Home tab.

Tap Trends.

Trends let you see how your personal metrics have changed over time. Tap on the tab you'd like to learn more about, then tap on a metric. For this example, we'll use Readiness and Heart rate variability.

The selected metric is displayed. The newly added tag is visible under Tags for.... A icon will also appear under the days where a tag has been added.

You can highlight days marked with the same tag. To do so, tap the text box under Highlight days tagged with.

Tap on your newly added tag.

The days marked with the chosen tag will appear highlighted.
