Training Volume measures the amount of medium and high activity exercise you’ve had over the past 7 days. Like training frequency, training volume is an essential part of maintaining and improving your fitness level.
To achieve optimal training volume with Oura, your exercise volume should be equal to at least 45 mins of brisk walking on 6 days of the week. Oura accumulates your training from all past 7 days, so you are free to do more on some days and less on others. The exact recommended weekly training volume is determined based on your age and gender.
Oura recommends having a training session on 3 or more days during a week. In order to maintain a healthy balance Oura recommends that you also have recovery days, particularly if your Readiness Score is low.
