The readiness score

The readiness score is a measure designed to help you identify days that are ideal for challenging yourself, and those that are better for taking it easy. The score is generated using all of the sensor data, physiological signals, sleep and activity patterns that are monitored by the Oura ring.

The readiness score is affected by several contributors, which are displayed in the readiness view. Your daily readiness stats help you evaluate how well your sleep, activity and recovery are in balance. 

How to interpret your readiness score 

The readiness score ranges from 0-100. Here's what it tells about your recovery status:


85 and over Excellent, you're ready for action

70-84 Good, you've recovered well enough

60-69 Pay attention, you're not fully recovered

Under 60 Take action to rest and recharge
