How to Return or Exchange Your Oura Ring (U.S. Orders Only)

This article only applies to orders shipped to, and received in the United States. Information on returns and exchanges for orders outside of the U.S. can be found here

You may return or exchange your fully functional and undamaged Oura Ring for any reason within 30 days of receipt of your original order (i.e., the day you receive your ring in the mail) for a full refund or exchange. Shipping and handling charges from your original order are non-refundable.

Icon_Tip__1_.png Please note: we allow only one return or exchange per original order. This means you can either (1) return your original ring once for a refund, or (2) exchange it once for a size, model, or color change.

Icon_Error__2_.png Please note: due to manufacturing constraints, exchanges will be entirely unavailable after September 29th, 2021. The earliest we anticipate being able to fulfill any exchange requests is November 15th, 2021. We sincerely appreciate your patience.

Icon_Tip__2_.png For all who have received their ring in the mail, or placed an order after September 15th, 2021: we are offering you until January 31, 2022 to return your ring, if you choose to do so. 

Step 1.

Please initiate a return request here to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, and prepaid FedEx return label. Icon_Error__1_.png This label will only work if you're returning your ring directly from the United States. 

Please have your order number (SO-XXXXXXXX) and billing zip code handy. If you’re requesting an exchange, please have the new ring model you’d like prepared beforehand, as you’ll be asked to input this information as well.

Step 2.

Once you've received an RMA using the above link, carefully package your Oura Ring Icon_Ring_Outline_Gen2_Balance.png with all of its original accessories (i.e., ring, charging cable, and dock). We recommend using the original white box your Oura Ring arrived in, if possible. However, if you don’t have the original box, it’s okay for you to use your own—as long as the device is properly protected and kept secure while in transit. Next, please place this into a return package Icon_Email__1_.png of your choice (e.g. a small box, padded envelope, or alike).  

Step 3.

Print your prepaid Fedex return label and properly affix it to the outside of your return package Icon_Email__1_.png. Drop off your labeled return package at the designated Fedex shipping location.

Icon_Lowest_Heart_Rate_Indicator.png If you do not have a printer, or proper shipping materials to package your Oura Ring and affix your return label, these steps can be completed at the designated Fedex drop-off location you decide to use. Please share your return label PDF at the designated Fedex drop-off location for on-site printing assistance.

Icon_Error__1_.png Please note: while the return label has 'USPS' written on the front, you can still use FedEx shipping services to return your ring.

Step 4.

Once your return package has shipped back to us, our team will begin the refund or replacement process. Please wait for a confirmation email Icon_Message.png from our team stating that your refund or replacement has been processed.

Icon_Lowest_Heart_Rate_Indicator.png In the case of a return, once you’ve received your confirmation email, you can expect to see a refund to your original form of payment within 4-5 business days.

Icon_Lowest_Heart_Rate_Indicator.png In the case of an exchange, 10-15 business days is the general timeline we estimate for how long it will take to receive your new Oura Ring Icon_Ring_Outline_Gen2_Balance.png after shipping your original model back to us.
